2025 Blacktop Battle

Welcome to the 30th Annual Asian 3on3 Blacktop Battle.
30 years and still a summertime tradition in the Chinatown community. For many of you, it is a chance to get together with friends or family members and play some 3on3 basketball, hang out and frequent some of your favorite Chinese/Asian restaurants. Each year, over 190+ teams participate over two weekends.
Our 3on3 is the battle grounds for all Asian ballers; tall or short, young or old, male or female, a college player, a gym rat, a street baller or just someone who plays occasionally. There is a division for everyone. Registration for this year’s 3on3 is now ongoing until the deadline of July 13th or earlier, or as soon as divisions are filled.

NACBA 2025 MARKHAM, CANADA
Friday May 23 – Monday May 26, 2025
We invite everyone to join us Memorial Day 2025 in Markham, Canada for the 43rd Annual Invitational Tournament.
This year’s tournament will be played at four locations in the Markham area: Markham Pan Am Centre, Bill Crothers Secondary School, King Square Sports Centre and the CAN Sports Center; a total of 11 full size courts.
We look forward to seeing everyone enjoy a weekend filled with basketball, friendly competition, fun and return home with lasting memories.

2025 March Badness
Saturday or Sunday, March 15 & 16
On behalf of ASIANHOOPS.COM, we invite your team to participate in the 2025 MARCH BADNESS to be held on Saturday or Sunday, March 15 & 16 at Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ or Open Gyms in Oakland, NJ. This tournament looks to bring Asian basketball teams from the East Coast together for a day of competitive basketball, friendships and fun.
MARCH BADNESS will look to feature (9) divisions of play: Boys 10u, Boys 12u, Boys 14u, Boys 16u, Boys 18u, Men’s Open, Men’s Friendship, Girls 18u and Women’s. All divisions will require a minimum of 4 teams and each division will have a maximum of 8 teams. This will allow for a smooth running event. Each team is guaranteed to play in at least three (3) games in the tournament and those advancing into the playoffs or championships will possibly play 4-5 games.
Entry Fee: $320 PER TEAM
2024 Pre National - NACBA
July 22, 23, & 29, 2024
This year’s NACBA PRE NATS places the spotlight on youth basketball and its continued growth in the community. Divisions of play will only include the following: Girl 15u and Boys 11u, 13u and 15u.
The 2023 event will return to Union City High School in Union City, New Jersey. Great location only a few miles after exiting the Lincoln Tunnel in NJ.565

2024 Tip-Off Classic

On behalf of ASIANHOOPS.COM, we invite your team to participate in the 2024 8th Annual Tip-Off Classic to be held on the weekend of Sunday, December 15 Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ and M.S. 56 School in lower Manhattan, NYC.
This tournament looks to bring Asian basketball teams from the East Coast together for a day of competitive basketball, friendships and fun.
The TIP-OFF CLASSIC will look to feature (8) divisions of play: Boys 10u, Boys 12u, Boys 14u, Boys 16u, Boys 18u, Girls 15u, Girls 18u and Women’s. All divisions will require a minimum of 4 teams and each division will have a maximum of either 4, 6 or 8 teams. This will allow for a smooth running event. Each team is guaranteed to play in at least three (3) games in the tournament and those advancing into the playoffs or championships will possibly play 4-5 games.

2024 JBL/GBL NY Rockits
July 22, 23, & 29, 2024
The JBL (boys) and GBL (girls) is ideal for beginners and intermediate ballers who want to improve their game. League Director Ed Chan and the coaches will focus on teaching the proper fundamentals in performing lay-ups, dribbling, passing and shooting. We will also help foster teamwork and communication which will develop the athlete mentally, athletically, and socially.
Limited to 60 kids (Ages 9-14 yrs, Grades 4-8)
Entry Fee: $100 PER Player
