2023 Tip-Off Classic
Saturday & Sunday, December 9-10, 2023
On behalf of ASIANHOOPS.COM, we invite your team to participate in the 2023 7th Annual Tip-Off Classic to be held on the weekend of Saturday & Sunday, December 9-10 at Hoop Heaven in Whippany, NJ, Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ and M.S. 56 School in lower Manhattan, NYC.
This tournament looks to bring Asian basketball teams from the East Coast together for a day of competitive basketball, friendships and fun.
All divisions will require a minimum of 4 teams and each division will have a maximum of 8 teams. This will allow for a smooth running event. Each team is guaranteed to play in at least three (3) games in the tournament
and those advancing into the playoffs or championships will possibly play 4-5 games.

MEN'S OPEN
(limit 4-8 teams) - this is where teams from New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, Toronto and the east coast compete for bragging rights. This is the division where many former/current high school/college standouts compete against the best. Bring it on. (competitive)
MEN'S FRIENDSHIP
(limit 4-8 teams) - for those teams that play occasionally and are somewhat competitive.
BOYS 18 & UNDER
(limit 4-8 teams) - It's the boys chance to shine as the best up and coming ballers get to showcase their skills.

(limit 4-6 teams) - This is where the hoop dreamers emerge as the future stars of Asian basketball
BOYS 14-UNDER
(limit 4-6 teams) - This is where you start seeing the potential of these rising stars.
BOYS 12-UNDER
(limit 4-6 teams) – This is where it all begins for the future stars of Asian basketball.
BOYS 10-UNDER
(limit 4-6 teams) – This is where it all begins for the future stars of Asian basketball.
GIRLS 18u
(limit 4 teams) – a chance for those up and coming ballers to compete against those in the same age group.
GIRLS 15u
(limit 4 teams) – a chance for those too young to compete with the women

WOMEN'S OPEN
(limit 4 teams) - An opportunity for the Women to hoop it up.
How to Register
The Team Captain/Coach/Organizer will compete the team registration form and select the division that your team is playing in.
After successfully completing the team registration and submitting; each player will receive an email to complete their individual player registration forms. If the player is under the age of 18, their legal guardian must help complete their registration.
After submitting the team registration form, submit the $320 entry fee immediately by PAYPAL, CHASE QUICKPAY or ZELLE.

2) If you have CHASE QUICKPAY or ZELLE, transfer the money to rockits@verizon.net.
After payment, please send an email to rockits@asianhoops.com with your team name and division so that we can reserve a place for your team. Your team is accepted to play after a confirmation email is sent to your team.
Coaches/Organizers of Youth Teams: In order to be fair to all teams participating, we will be randomly checking Player I.D.s for proof of age/ethnicity. Coaches and players should have a copy of each player’s passport or birth certificate with them or a picture on their phone on tournament day. Players that are declared ineligible will be disqualified immediately and the team will forfeit any wins that the non-eligible player participated in.
